Scriptural Insights 

1.We have to have Faith before we even ask

Now this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in Him, 

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 NLT
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;” James 1:6-7 NKJV

2.He will hear what He said therefore We must learn to pray according to His word, which is His will 

that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 

“You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” John 14:13-14 NLT

3.Not only will He hear us, He will grant us petitions 

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 NLT

“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John 15:7 NLT
