Kayla Reed is a Beauty Queen, Motivational Speaker and the author of the new book The Unlikely Queen. The Unlikely Queen is the captivating story of Kayla's true life and improbably path into the world of beauty pageants. Winning the crown of Miss Black Dallas for Kayla was a dream come true and she now uses her platform to inspire and motivate others to follow their dreams using her real-life experiences of both triumph and tragedy. Kayla is a proud graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana earning both a bachelor's and masters degree from the university. She has also lived in both Mexico and South Korea before making Dallas, TX her home.

The From boys to Men: Success Journal is a bi-product based on the "From Boys to Men" Personal Development Program. The From Boys to Men Program is a 10-20 week program presented in schools and for various community organization to help prepare young men for success and to help them avoid the failed callings of the urban streets.
