in October of 1978 a UFO appeared in Clarenville, Newfoundland and stayed around for approximately two hours witnessed by several residence and a RCMP officer. When the 25-year-old Blackwood responded to the call from the group on Marine Drive, he assumed it was a simple case of the b’ys getting into the moonshine and letting their imaginations run wild.  But, what Blackwood ended up seeing made him a minor celebrity and the subject of ridicule on the force, so much so that after leaving Clarenville he rarely spoke of the incident.  Listen now about the incident and watch for a special offer coming this fall from our own government.
