When most people think of Weyburn, they think of agriculture or oil. But Muhammad has built something very different — a state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation facility serving partners across Canada and even reaching international markets.

Originally from Pakistan, Muhammad completed his PhD in hydroponics and worked internationally in the Netherlands and the United States before landing in Saskatchewan. After a large cannabis project in Estevan fell through, he took a bold step. He pitched his own business plan to local investors, purchased land to prove his commitment, and launched Zevk Cultivation in 2019.
