Sheikh Muiz Bukhary is a scholar of Islam from Sri Lanka, who memorized the Noble Quran at the age of 14, and then spent 10 years specializing in fields of classical Arabic, Islamic jurisprudence, and hadith (traditions of the Prophet).

Currently he is the CEO of’Sakeenah Institute a first of it’s kind in Colombo, which focuses on disseminating knowledge to students, offering schedules of classes feasible for people with different full-time commitments.

Muiz Bukhary is also a teacher of the Arabic language at the institute he graduated from; which is the “International Islamic Institute” of Colombo.
And last but not least he also serves as the Imaam and Khateeb (preacher) of the Wellawatte Jumu’ah Masjid in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
