We had a great conversation with Amazing artist and musician Haley Jane...We talked about our various styles of artist that she has been involved with, ranging from sculpture to her own Clothing lines and a number of other things..We talked about Starving artist and the need for trauma in order to be a successful art...We also talked the importance of having business sense in the art world...we also talked about how artists are not all the time respected and sometimes are even exploited....We also talked about Artist as Activist and her definition of Art but she also mentioned some unusual art that she has seen......We also discussed Art Basil and her love of Travelling..

Later in the show, we were joined by Rev. Curtis Gatewood who discussed a protest he was leading in a few days that involved a housing complex here in Durham...we talked about Environmental justice, National politics, the power of our Press, and the need for the Church to step up and do their job with the homeless and those facing rent problems. He also talked about racism in the society and the need for us not to fall asleep because Democrats won the election.....His thoughts on Stimulus and those that say it can not improve the economy.
