In celebration of the opportunities and possibilities multilingualism gives us, the Division for Learning and Teaching Enhancement is hosting a Language Day conference on 30 September. As part of this celebration of multilingualism, we will be speaking to several Stellenbosch staff members who are involved in language activities at the University.

Prof Mbulungeni Madiba is the Dean of the Faculty Education and has published widely on multilingual education and language planning and policy. He shares his views on multilingualism in education.
