Board certified neurologist Dr. Tamar Harel discusses the complex autoimmune disorder, multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is triggered by the immune system  attacking the protective sheath surrounding nerve fibers, known as myelin, as something foreign. Symptoms include fatigue, loss of coordination, pain, and memory and vision loss.
