Let's talk about Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a "chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system that includes the brain, spinal cord and optic nerve. It can affect vision, memory, balance and mobility. The disease attackes the myelin sheath that is the protective covering of the nerves causing inflammation and often damaging the myelin"-MS society of Canada. Canada has the HIGHEST rates of MS in the world. 90 000 Canadians live with this disease.
