Munch and Mingle

Week 1 is in the books! And what a way to start it off than by Elder Gong's talk? This is definitely a talk you are going to want to work through a few times this week, because there are so many avenues you can go down with it.

Today I specifically hit on the thought of carrying His holy house back into ours and to help do that I enlisted the help of one Richard Rife, a temple sealer at the Payson, Utah temple.

Be sure to let me know what thoughts or impressions you pull out of this talk as well!

Probably one of the shortest episodes you'll hear from me this month, but everything just kind of hit the fan this weekend, anyone else have those or currently in that right now? :D

The two talks we go over today though really are acting as a balm for my soul though, and I couldn't think of any better way to explain that, then to just go over the exact words from their mouth and hope the Spirit touches you in a way that helps you where ever you are today.

We are back with our double talks episode, which means get ready for a double punch of the Spirit! And this one, is a good one!

I'm shocked by how these talks can coincide so well together, but especially these two and from a rock house pair nonetheless.

I was reminded by going through these talks how some times in our trials of faith, we will have the strength to move forward and other times, it might be a little harder to take that first step. But above all, the Lord is not asking us to be perfect and not have moments in mortality, that is what this time is all about, to build and grow ourselves!

But never forget, the Lord is not waiting for you on the other side of the trial, He is in it with you.

So excited for you to go through these talks and see what you get out of them.

So happy to be back in the same week with another episode! Pray for me as we try to crank as many as we can out before baby girl gets here! I have faith that we can do it!

This was such a fascinating talk to go through and study about, espeically being able to go deeper into truly what a vine is and it's purpose it serves, it doesn't surprise me now how much a vine is constantly referred to in the scriptures.

I'm so excited for you to go through this talk and don't forget to really sit and ponder these 2 questions:

1. What am I attached to for my life?

2. What am I drawing life from every day?

We've got a little bit different kind of an episode this week, I'm on a mission to get through this entire General Conference before Baby gets here, and to do that the only way I can see is by doubling up our talks for every episode.

It might take a little more getting used to on my part, because the talks start to blend together, but then I also think, Doubling up on the talks = Doubling up on the Spirit, right? (;

I'm so excited to have you go through these talks though, both of these Elder's did such a fantastic job at reminding us how special we each are to our Savior, Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven.

I apologize again for coming in a little late this week. But you won't want to miss this episode, especially the little treat at the end!

Also forgive me for never being able to say Elder Causse's name correctly on this episode!

I love this talk as it really encourages us to reach beyond our normal capacity and mental bandwith, to love more, esepcially to love those with disagree with or better yet, don't even know!

I apologize for the late episode this week, but I had to make sure we got this episode out this, as our conference talk spoke volumes to Britton and I, especially after our past two weeks of events.

I hope that no matter where you are in life, at the beginning, middle or end of a hard time, that you will know, Jesus Christ is the Relief, not the burden of the trial.

I'm so grateful to have had this talk to remind me of that very truth.

I apologize y'all this talk unpacked so much in my brain, and yet I still feel like I don't have the adequate words to express it, because it's almost still an ongoing process.

However, I do believe we are able to find the main meat of this talk that Elder Wu is trying to get across.

I hope and pray you are having a good week and above all that you are able to give away whatever is holding you back from truly transforming into the incredible creature that you are meant to become with Heavenly Father.
