The Mangaung Municipality is being placed under national administration, due to a series of governance failures and financial mismanagement. President Cyril Ramaphosahas ordered Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, to lead efforts to rescue the municipality.
