Last week the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality was in the news as residents were not pleased with Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. She reportedly angered them when she refused to immediately commit to dissolving the troubled municipality during a community meeting last Monday. Reports indicate that President Cyril Ramaphosa and his Cabinet will have to decide whether a case has been made for the dissolution of the municipality.
