The Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality has painted a promising picture about how they are turning their status around. They were briefing members of parliament last week. One of the major challenges they were facing were that of political instability. The municipality was placed under administration by the provincial and national governments in 2020. One other thing they are hoping to get right is financial stability which has been a major challenge for them.
