Ever since the KZN floods and how the municipalities there have battled to deal with the disaster, concerns have been raised at how local government responds. Climate change has become a reality and just recently even currently, the Western cape and Eastern Cape are involved in mop-up operations after being hit by floods which have claimed several lives.
