Lisa Au was a 19-year-old hairdresser from Oahu, Hawaii, who disappeared in January 1982. She was driving home in the rain after meeting with her boyfriend, Doug Holmes. By the next day, she had not returned home, and her car was found abandoned on the road home. Ten days later her body was discovered, and police looked into various suspects, including Doug and one of their own.
