The revelation that Fleniken was killed by a bullet, leads detectives Apple and Brenner to revisit the electricians. As today’s episode opens, they are reinterviewing Tim Steinmetz, one of the electricians who had been staying in the room across from 348, along with Lance Meuller, on that fateful night when Greg Fleniken was killed, Up until the moment Tim Steinmetz signed his statement, he probably thought everything was fine. The atmosphere in the room was congenial; the detectives seemed satisfied. His statement had been diligently written, corrected, initialed, and notarized. Steinmetz might've even felt a modest sense of relief as he prepared to leave. "Is that it?" Steinmetz asked, rising from his seat. “Hang on a second,” Detective Brennan's voice shifted dramatically. "It was, until you signed that statement. Now you’ve got a problem..."
