In 2001, Los Angeles fashion student Ashley Ellerin was found murdered inside of her home. As police are interviewing friends, family, and neighbors, they're given one name that sticks out the most: Mike, The Furnace Man. As police are looking into this name and trying locate him, they get an interesting phone call from a police department in Illinois. They soon realize that the man they are all looking for, may be a seasoned killer whose reign of terror is far from over...
