Murdered grandfather found after mistaken identity abduction
Chris Baghsarian, a Sydney grandfather, was wrongly abducted from North Ryde 11 days ago in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity. His remains were discovered at Pitt Farm, north of Lynwood Golf Club, approximately 40 hours after the abduction. Police are continuing their manhunt for the culprits, with Detective Acting Superintendent Andrew Marks confirming that Sydney businessman Dimitri Stepanian was the intended target, having received WhatsApp ransom demands.
