Two friends are on a New Year's trip in the Marlborough Sound of southern New Zealand. They take a water taxi operated by Guy Wallace back to their chartered yacht, boarding with three other passengers, and take a rain check on another part of the island with a "mysterious man". They are never to be seen again. Their bodies have never been found; an alleged innocent man is now in prison serving time for their murders. Who killed Ben Smart and Olivia Hope?
