Murray's 44pts Leads Hawks to OT Win...

The Celtics lose to the Hawks 123-122 in OT... Dejounte Murray scored 44pts in this game but despite what those numbers might say, his shooting splits were horrible, he just happened to take 44 shots lol. The Celtics played pretty well on the offensive end but they lost this game on the glass. They gave up 17 offensive rebounds that led to what felt like a million second chance pts. The Celtics have been one of the best defensive rebounding % teams in the NBA so this isn't something to necessarily be concerned about but it definitely is frustrating.

One thing that some Celtics fans have complained about is late game execution and this was another game where we did see Tatum with his signature side step 3 that most people hate seeing at the end of the game. That is maddening to me BUT they did change that in OT. At the end of regulation, it looked like JB had position on Hunter in the post but that isn't where the inbounds pass went. Well it went there to Porzingis in OT and it led to a huge midrange from JB that could've been a game winner had Murray not hit a massive shot afterwards. It's a tough loss but we're on to the next.
