William “Billy” Myers joined the Marines at 17, right after he graduated high school. He served in the years right before Vietnam became known in most of the households around the United States. After he got out, he went to college, then on to teach high school (as well as coaching football and baseball). He also wrote two books: Honor the Warrior and Marines, Medals, and Vietnam. In this episode, we chat about his latest book as well as get the correct pronunciation of “Lejuene.”
