Music Education Returns to Dayton Public Schools
Yamaha is partnering with World Guard International (WGI), along with other local organizations to bring instrumental programs and Music Education back to the Dayton Public Schools. Kim Faris spoke with Marcia Neel - Senior Director of Education for Yamaha Corporation of America about the kick off of this program.
Also, the 3rd Annual Dayton Public Schools 5K will be held on Saturday, April 28th at Welcome Stadium, 1601 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. The Kids' Run starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by the official 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. This run/walk fundraiser will help raise money for the music departments in the Dayton Public Schools.
