John was such an insightful guest. We go deep on why he started the game and his business. With any good guest, there's genuine intent and that could not have been more apparent with John. After an unfortunate car accident ended his football dreams, a good neighbour showed him Golf and he actually had to learn the game from the green back to the tee with the physical ramifications of the accident! Amp Caddy is a speaker for the golf course that brings more than just music to the course. It brings soul. It sets the scene, gives the vibe and ensures a good time on the course. To attract more guys to the game, we need to help make Golf more causal (at the right times) and Amp Caddy goes a long way to do that. John cares so much about the golfer's experience and that is so evident with the products he produces. Inspired from a BMW spec Golf cart at the local country club, John recognised the want and need for easy access to music on the course. We also vibe hard on what Golf is lacking currently and what it needs to reverse participation numbers. We both got back to the same place.
