Music Is a Dead Scene

We return to the MIADS Hall of Fame - 6 new artists will be nominated and debated to earn their place in this most prestigious institution!

We also welcome another guest to the podcast, Kevin - a band manager extraordinaire who the guys have known for a VERY long time...

Thanks to Kev for coming along for the ride!

If you were given an album out of order (one you've never heard before), would you be able to figure out the correct tracklist?

That's the challenge Cameron and Euan have set themselves on this episode of MIADS - and don't worry there's a point to system to measure how close will they get to the original album sequence...

Back for it's second year, Gateshead's own Treevolution festival expands to bring an even bigger and better offering of alt rock, indie and acoustic artists to the vibrant venues of the Railway Quarter!

The MIADS crew went down to check out everything the day had to offer: vegan food, Bigfoot t-shirts and an interview with one of the Treevolution promoter Nathan - what more could you want?!

You know those bits in pop songs where a rapper inexplicably does a verse and then disappears? It's time to talk about 'em - everyone's favourite feature of modern music: Features!

Favourite features, hidden features and even a case of stealing a recording to use as a feature

AND we have our own featured guest as James from baseball podcast Out at First jumps in last minute and saves the day!

Oh and Cameron does some rapping too - we're very sorry...

Every album, every song

Pt. 2 includes Take Me Back to Eden and Even in Arcadia

The Sleep Token series of specials concludes after just two parts - but I guess that's what we get for choosing such a new artist!

This episode sees Cameron and Euan cover Sleep Token's most recent and most popular albums, as they become not only the poster boys of the metal world but even breakthrough into the mainstream consciousness

Will we share the public's fervor for the band? Or will these final albums turn out be the final nail in the MIADS coffin of opinions...
