Trodd Matjiu, professionally known as Tronik, is a South African DJ and events curator born and raised in Kagiso West Rand. His passion for music was ignited at a young age. During his high school years, he was part of a group called Deep3 and later collaborated with Kgomotso, professionally known as Deejay Tso. Together, they produced a song titled Mkhuzeni ft Deco. Tronik launched his solo career in 2024.

Tronik has performed at various venues, including Makubenjalo, Coconut Bar North West, El Niño North West, Gravity Lifestyle, Mink, Disoufeng, Extreme lounge Soweto, Zone 6, Drama, and Let’s meet here Shisanyama.

Tronik has showcased his versatility in music through his mixtapes. In 2020, he released his debut mixtape, an old skool mix of house music, during the lockdown period. He subsequently transitioned to the amapiano genre and released mixtapes, The Musical Exhibition Experience Vol 18, 19, and 22, which he mixed and compiled himself. Tronik hosted a successful event called Tronik and Friends, featuring prominent artists such as Djy Jaivane , Myztro, Zuma, Shaun 101, Tman Xpress, Bassie, mashudu, Tycoon, Josiah De Disciple, Mdu aka TRP, Success SA, and Cakes & Sxova. His influence in the music industry continues to grow in Kagiso West Rand, inspiring others with his talent. Tronik aspires to collaborate with renowned artists and establish himself as a household name in the industry. He is committed to further growth and development. 🎖️🎖️
