Danella Smith is a Namibian singer and songwriter living in The Hague in the Netherlands. She visited Windhoek and plays an exclusive world first in our studio with the song "We lost the sunscreen on the back seat.

She started mastering the guitar from a young age and has it as a permanent musical atlas and side-kick in her musical journey. She writes songs in both English and her native language Afrikaans sticking close to her cultural roots. 

Danella’s music is infused with her love for the African landscape and the culture in which she grew up. Her African vibes and heritage can be heard and felt through all of her lyrics and sounds.  Every song she creates maintains a unique atmosphere true to Danella. Her goal is to take listeners on an audio adventure with lighthearted pop rock and folk-style notes while also delving into songs that reflect the darker emotions and experiences of life.
