David Freiberg was a member of the seminal psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane and remained with the group when they reformed as Jefferson Starship, cowriting their hit song "Jane" in 1979. A talented singer and multi-instrumentalist, Freiberg plays guitar, electric bass, keyboards, percussion and viola.
