Music's Still Game with Jack and Lewis

Listen Later

JB is joined by singer Jack and keys player Lewis from Jack Brodie and the Niddrie Boys.

Jack gives us an insight in to how being drunk during covid helped inspire him to pick up guitar again and begin to start writing songs. We here from both the guys about how the band got together through a chance meeting.

We hear from Lewis about his passion for being able to identify chords and getting involved in the producing side of things.

There is some inspiring chat about how Jack has created a local community event which he calls The Movement. This involves people from the local area coming along to an open mic session with people of various musical abilities getting involved.

If you can then check out the band or Jack's solo sets at the following dates:

28/5/26 - Banshees, Edinburgh

6/6/26 - Room 2, Glasgow supporting Kyle O

7/6/26 Meadows Festival, Glasgow

11/6/26 Nice and Sleazys, Glasgow (solo set)

As is tradition we round up with some quickfire questions.
