MUSICUNEED

Right in time for summer, we have the lovely pleasure to feature Shamul Sharma for the 11th episode of our podcast series, who goes by the artist name “Shamul", is an Indian Lounge, Chill-out and House Music producer. If you need to categorise him into a genre, he prefers calling himself a “freestyler”! Shamul started his journey as a musician by being part of a local band “Elixer” as a bass guitarist. Soon, Shamul learnt DJ-ing and studio works. It was just a matter of time, that he realised that his talent was not to play other’s productions, rather he can create the music he likes to play.

We're pleased to host such a beautiful mix filled with grooves! Enjoy MuN#011

The times are changing, music is also, so it's natural that the music played by Matto changed from deep house into the sound of the future house. DJ has offered one Lithuanian radio station an idea of a musical show based on a somewhat different sound that is not typical of other, similar shows. That idea was accepted and so far, Matto's show is broadcast every Thursday evening on one of the most popular radio stations in Lithuania @PowerHitRadio. You must enjoy this! This is special - from Ontario, California, USA. One late night he tuned into the radio station and heard a very deep groovy track by Frankie Knuckles called the whistle song. The song immediately captured Brotha Berry thus beginning his love for house music. In early 2000 Brotha Berry realized he had a unique sound in music and began producing and experimenting with various genres ranging from progressive, ambient to trance. As his style of music became geared towards house music, he started hearing various artists such as doc martin, soul minority, carl cox, Kevin Yost and Sebastian Davidson to name a few.
