Musiga has not had a president for 8 years and counting because members refuse to settle their differences and work as one unit.

Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, who served as the Accra Regional Chairman of MUSIGA, dragged the union to court in 2019 after alleging some irregularities concerning the electoral process.
