Musings in Transit

Musings in Transit Podcast

Listen Later

A new episode is here, where we explore the themes and depths of what Scorpio Season has to offer in many ways.

This episode is one full of ancestral healing, magic, folk traditions, and coffee. I was lucky enough to have my friend, fellow author, and incredible folk witch, Leah Middleton, on the pod!

Leah is a folk practionier through and through! She from southern Appalachia, in Western North Carolina, and now creating a home in the Pacific Northwest. Her work is focused on ancestral practices drawn from her roots. She has a substack called Folkcraft, where she invites readers to join her for conversations on her front porch, so to speak. For her, her writing is a creative landscape and grimoire: a place where magic, the mundane, and creativity intertwine.

Recently, she has authored two books: Magic from the Hilltops and Hollers and The Beginner Witches Handbook. Each one drawing inspiration from her personal magical practices.
