A look at Jesus statement in Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Applying the skill of reading the sentence in its context to determine Jesus main point in using this hyperbole.  Follow along with your Bible. The whole context is verses 1-10. Consider to whom he speaks and why. The apostle's request after hearing the teaching on the necessity to forgive your brother if he has wronged you and repented.
