OCAD is an organization that has actively been fighting against deportations and the criminalization of immigrants and people of color since its inception in 2013. They are currently one of the leading voices against social injustice in immigrant communities in the city of Chicago, and they are here today to speak on their ongoing efforts, how we can get involved, and a little bit of the history of their organizing throughout the years.
The Mutual Aid Report is a bi-monthly show that highlights various mutual aid organizations across the Chicagoland area. It provides a platform for you to learn about these organizations, support their efforts, or access assistance if needed.
