Whatever you take in this world each one is dependent on others. It may be us, we depend on many many things which cannot be numbered. Earth depends on the sun, which means life on earth to sustain we need sunlight, the sun indeed needs to glow. For the sun to glow it need its own chemical reaction to take place in its core.

Similarly, carnivorous animals depend on other herbivores animals. Plants depend on sunlight, water. We depend on plants for oxygen, food, etc. We are the only animals dependent on everything.

When you apply the same concept to businesses, if the business wants to sustain then it needs dependency, either people on that business for some profit or the business need some profit in order to maintain people.
