Muzyka - poważna sprawa

The September 1st podcast of the Muzyka-Poważna-Sprawa broadcast is a chance to listen to Andreas Ottensamer in Franz Danzi's Concertino, and the soulful Agnus Dei from Antonio Rosetti's Requiem in E-flat Major – its premiere took place during the funeral ceremonies held in Prague 9 days after the death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We will return to Domenico Scarlatti's Sonatas performed by accordionist Maciej Zimka, and then the Klangforum Wien ensemble will perform Sara Glojnarić's 2022 composition Pure Bliss for Ensemble. The broadcast will close with an excerpt from the legendary recording of Aram Khachaturian's Violin Concerto, performed by David Oistrakh and conducted by the composer himself.
