“Where am I in relation to my age and my assets? I don’t even know what that measuring stick is or what it’s meant to look like.”
Welcome to this week’s episode of In My Truth with Sarah Riegelhuth! This week’s guest is David Elron.
Sarah and David met at briefly at the Volcano Innovation Summit in Antigua Guatemala and became friends at Camp Jeff earlier this year in Turks and Caicos. Camp Jeff what is sometimes referred to as a Soul Vacation and it was a trip that both Sarah and David felt called to attend. If you follow Sar on instagram (@sarahriegelhuth), you’ll have seen some magical, soulful photos of the milky way, turquoise waters and high vibe connections.
David Elron works with and loves people. He works with people to bring us back to our human bodies, who we are and to our hearts. He does this through Amanae, a deep and profound journey using the physical body as the gateway to the spiritual body by bypassing the mind.
David also works in leadership that is lead from the heart, helping leaders understand that their role is to care and take care of the people in their care.
Simply being around David reminds us to be in our bodies and be who we are. But, where is David right now?
He’s about to turn 50, and although he’s content with many areas of his life, particularly around feeling successful and the work that he does, he’s also feeling the weight of worry about his financial future.
Join Sarah Riegelhuth and David Elron in this episode of In My Truth as their conversation dissects turning fifty, struggling with finances and working through their mindsets and stories around money.

“I don't do what I do in life for money, but money enables me to do it in a whole other level.”

Like many of us, Sarah and David have been through periods of abundance and scarcity, and in this episode they share some highs and lows of their assets and financial position.
How do you feel about your financials at this point in your life?
“If I had another zero added to the end of my bank account, would it really change anything? I'd still be sitting here doing this podcast with you."
David and Sarah also get vulnerable with the untruths they’re living with around:
Getting into scarcity mindsets
Tying our self-worth to our financial position
Not forgetting about ourselves while building our companies
Growing with our businesses
Our salaries vs the pride in our work
Money as an energy exchange
Our personal financial situations
How our upbringings affect our money mindset
Fear around not having enough money
Money representing success
Rebelling against 'should's and ideologies
Our relationships with money
Raising money for companies
Comfort zones and fear around stepping into our full potential
Guilt around making money
Why and how Sarah destroyed a lot of her wealth
Believing it will all work out
The dichotomy in knowing things and actually feeling them
The freedom money brings to our lives

Remember you’re not alone, and there is hope, even though it may not feel that way at times. Talk to someone, a friend or family member and let them support you. Reach out to a professional. Do whatever you need to do to start your journey back to feeling good.
Here are some resources I found on Google (because I am not a professional, these are not recommendations, just suggestions with love and empathy from me to you):
