Let’s chat about BTS’s awards and recognitions from 2017 onwards. I’ll recap some of their big moments and share my thoughts on how the fandom reacted during the height of pre-pandemic ARMY discourse. We’ll also talk about what I believe to be the biggest trophy they (never) received. Success comes with flaws so we will discuss some of the critiques they’ve faced surrounding their mainstream position in and out of K-pop.
