My Career Journey: Struggle, Success, And Setbacks
In this episode of Let's Talk Jobs, I open up about how I dealt with struggle, failure, imposter syndrome, and terrible managers in my career. There were several times where I felt like I hit rock bottom and I lost all sense of self, value and purpose. Unfortunately, I didn't have the benefit of a mentor to walk me through this journey.
Eventually I decided to take a stand, and things started to turn around for me. As I walk through these stories, I also talk about what advice would have been helpful to me at that juncture of my career. Ultimately, all of these experiences built me into who I am today. I know who I am now and I know what I'm worth. It transformed me into a more compassionate individual and for that, I am thankful and blessed.
