For some people, working globally has always been a goal while for others, it is something they are only starting to consider with the world of work becoming increasingly more connected across global boundaries. Working globally provides the opportunity to expand your knowledge about different cultures, develop transferrable skills such as communication and adaptability, or build networks around the world.
Listen as a panel of UBC alumni and professionals share how they navigated their career peaks and valleys, explored their interests and developed skills, and how their networks helped them along the way in their global career journeys.
Recorded March 14, 2019, at the Simon K. Y. Lee Global Lounge at UBC Vancouver.
Presented by UBC Centre for Student Involvement & Careers with support from alumni UBC
