Many, if not most, of us love the beach. Some of the best memories of my childhood are of the timelessness, the smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing, and the warmth of the sand and the air at Nantasket Beach, near Boston. Our childhood "happy places" are good to return to in our minds when we're feeling unhappy, unsaafe, or unmoored. Try it!
