In this brief but rather infamous story, published in 1970, naive young Beverly likes going on dates with handsome Nick, but he is so bossy and gruff, telling her what to eat, where to go, taking total charge of the relationship... she wonders if it always has to be this way with a man.  Then she attends a rally for "Female Freedom," and her eyes are opened to the inequalities all around her!  But how will Beverly's love life fare, now that No Man is Her Master??
