After a brief hiatus, Ryan and Madolyn get way more political than would ever make sense for a show about Disney Channel original movies. My Date with the President’s Daughter brings out their nostalgia for a time where the U.S. wasn’t overtly on the brink of collapse, iPod shuffles, and Brittney Spears quarter machine stickers. Later, Ryan and Madolyn connect on being raised by TV, commiserate on how everyone is in a cult, get heated about fighting on Facebook, and agree to disagree on a spunky Disney sibling.
