The Brown Skin Mom Podcast is closing out Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month with my story about pregnancy loss. A scary situation made
When I was twenty-one years old, I experienced pregnancy loss through an ectopic pregnancy. It was a difficult time because I was not aware of what was happening. I didn’t even know what an ectopic pregnancy was until it happened. This is a short post. All of the good stuff is on the podcast.
I end the podcast with some affirmations for mothers to recite mentally when a little uplifting is needed. These affirmations can be found on the PALS: Pregnancy After Loss Support site and can be used whenever you need them. Use them and share them with other mothers who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.
My goal in sharing this story is to open up space for women to share their journey or to just feel like they are not alone. Take a listen and check out the episode with Erica McAfee of Sisters in Loss for more tips on supporting friends and family dealing with grief.
I appreciate you for listening. Don’t forget to leave a 5-star review and download the podcast on Apple iTunes and subscribe on Google Play.
