On the feast of Presenting the the Lord to the Temple, Fr. Mark reflects on Simeon’s proclamation, “Now you can let your servant depart in peace; my eyes have seen your salvation.” Through the Gospel of Luke, we see the glory of God returning to the temple and are invited to consider the true purpose of our lives. This sermon calls us to reorient our hearts, live not for wealth, status, or worldly success, but to experience Christ entering our lives, homes, and hearts. Fr. Mark challenges us to embrace Lent as a time to weaken the body, strengthen the soul, and cultivate a life centred on God’s salvation.
