If you remember Tusker Project Fame then you might remember Nyawira. Doreen Nyawira Muchiri was raised in Nyahururu, Gathanga as the firstborn.
Being the firstborn and getting into music while her parents wanted her to become a career woman with 8-5 work was a big challenge for her. At the age of 21, she had a conversation with her parents about joining the then-biggest musical TV show Tusker Project Fame which made her record her hit song “Muciari.”
“After getting into the show I didn’t know how to carry and handle fame back then.” Nyawira shared while asked why she went missing after recording the song 10 years ago.
