This episode adapts the"Sleep" from Psycho #6 (originally published May 1972), written and illustrated by Jeffrey Cathreine Jones (writing credit given to pen name Steve Stern), and "The Oblong Box" from Scream #4 (originally published February 1974), an adaptation of the story by Edgar Allan Poe written by Al Hewetson, with art by Maro Nava.
