Richard Feynman once appeared to be a genius when he was not... not that he usually needed any help from chance.

Also, I recount two bits of nonsense from the news.  The mistakes aren't huge, but they do make me wonder:  How does anyone trust the news in large things when they can't be trusted with small things?
