I encourage us all today to get back to our first love. I encourage us all to get back to that place when we first fell in love with Jesus, we were on fire truly worshipping, praying and fasting. We were telling everyone about Jesus. Let's get back to our first love. Let's worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, wholeheartedly. Let's get back to thanking God for being God and not just asking God for more and more material gain and prestige. Let's get back on our knees and laying on our faces, worshipping God with all that we have in us. Let's get back to seeking God's face and not his hand. Let's get back to reading God's word, spending time in prayer, praise and worship. Let's get back to our first love! Blessings are not material, they are spiritual! God knows all of our needs so let's just get back to pure worship, not worship to get anything, but just to worship God for who he is, God. God deserves all the glory, honor and the praise. I remember a song used to say, "because of who you are I give you glory, because of who you are I give you praise, Lord I worship you because of who you are"(Vicki Yohe, Because of who you are) Lord I worship you because of you are, if you never do anything else, you have already done enough!
