Welcome to our episode for August 14, 2015!
It’s a short week right before D23, but we still review Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and compare it to Man from UNCLE. There’s more Batfleck movies on the way, plus a Baywatch movie and Kindergarten Cop 2. Constantine is coming to Arrow, evil IKEA is becoming a TV series, and we may be getting a new ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’.
In Talk Nerdy to Me, Resurrection ‘F’ is climbing the charts and Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! is back for a second season!

“My Geek Confessions – Watching Bad Movies, So You Don’t Have To!”
* First up is the trailer for Hateful Eight, the new movie by Quentin Tarantino that’s set to hit theaters by the end of the year. It looks like it will be just as full of over the top violence as his other movies but I have to say I’m already excited with the additions of Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell.
* We mentioned the Westworld series trailer before that was released during Comic-Con but it’s finally been released to the public and you can see that so far they’ve updated it fairly well.
* Also up, is a new trailer for Supergirl. This one honestly has me a bit more excited because it looks like it’s bringing in the right amount of corny to fit in the new crop of DC TV series and reminds me a lot of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which is a good thing in my book.
* CW and the Flash continue to hit it out of the park, especially with this new tease for the second season with a fantastic recreation of a classic Flash comic book cover.
