TV season is underway so it’s a shorter week! There’s trouble for the Prometheus 2, Men in Black, Gambit movies; we cover the Emmy’s and Nickelodeon nostalgia with the Splat and a Kenan & Kel reunion.
In Talk Nerdy to Me, DC finally does something right by Bill Finger with Batman, Happy Birthday lyrics are public domain, Free! movie updates, and the final episode of Blood Blockade Battlefront is announced.

“My Geek Confessions – Watching Bad Movies, So You Don’t Have To!”
* This seems like years too late to capitalize on the Angry Birds craze but here is the teaser trailer for The Angry Birds Movie set to arrive even later past the point of caring in May 2016.
* As part of his beginning of his time as the new host of The Late Show on CBS, Stephen Colbert has started to start a lifestyle brand. He’s calling it Covetton House and captures cheesiness of people trying to sell themselves as brands and the items that go with them.
* This Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies is one of the reasons we love them so much. This time they are taking on the original Disney Peter Pan and help us remember just how…timely some of the old Disney cartoons really are.
* The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon had some great bits this last week. First is Kenan & Kel reunion in a Good Burger sketch which is short but definitely brings back memories. The second is Ragtime Gals with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jimmy Fallon singing “Bitch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna.
